This winter the crew decided to further develop 'Seven' by using A2 Wind Tunnel (A2WT) facility in North Carolina. The machine was adapted to fit on the sensor pad of the tunnel. It scored the lowest Coefficient of Drag (CoD) that the A2WT has ever recorded. A CoD 0.09, this was close to the estimated CoD 0.08 calculated during the field testing at the Bonneville Salt Flat Utah. With this new data the crew are ensuring that they not only retain the current world record, but exceed it in near future.
